Reinforced 360° Prism, with 5/8" upper attachment

This prism is equivalent to the Leica mod. MPR122.

Professional 360° Reflective Set, with 5/8"x11 top and bottom mount.

The quick release fitting is included in the package so that it can be installed on poles with a peg fitting.

This is a particularly resistant version and is highly recommended for the creation of a "Smart Pole" system, i.e. where you want to install a GPS receiver on the top of the prism.
The construction of the prism includes a metal core that connects the base of the prism with the upper part.

In traditional 360° prisms, made with the "opposite faces" technique and glued together, the mechanical resistance is given exclusively by the adhesive force of the glue used to assemble the crystals.
Adhesive strength that is sometimes not sufficient to effectively support the weight of a GNSS receiver.

In the SM-PR-360-122 prism, thanks to the internal reinforcement, it is possible to obtain a high mechanical resistance, which allows the use of a GNSS receiver mounted on the prism, even in the most demanding circumstances: the head is equipped with a standard 5/8"x11 connection, on the top of which GPS receivers or other devices with a 5/8" connection can be installed.

Alternatively, by turning the pole upside down, you can rest the prism on the ground point for precision surveys, thanks to the 5/8" attachment that ends like a tip.

This prism is equivalent to the Leica mod. MPR122.

However, it can be used on total stations of all models and brands (just set the offset correctly on your surveying instrument).
