THEORETICAL-PRACTICAL COURSE ON THE USE OF TERRESTRIAL 3D LASER SCANNER SYSTEMS IN THE ARCHITECTURAL, ENVIRONMENTAL, ARCHAEOLOGICAL, STRUCTURAL AND INDUSTRIAL FIELDS
The topics covered during the course will be calibrated from time to time based on the specific needs of the client.
The course consists of: Description of Laser Scanner Systems and Applications in various fields; overview of hardware and software tools, survey methodologies, survey design; Practical application of the survey project in situ, data integration between different types of 3D Laser Scanners, integration with external systems (GPS, Total Station, external camera), recording of acquired data, data colorization, comparisons between the different methodologies used. Modeling of acquired data, export of data to commonly used CAD applications, methodologies for the creation of two-dimensional documents (plans, elevations, sections and orthophotos) and 3D.
