A new FARO ® Power Block battery is now available, the ACCS-PWR-0014 is a direct replacement for the old ACCSS8001 battery. This new battery features redesigned control circuitry and an increased capacity from 92.2Wh to 97.9Wh offering improved performance and long battery life.

  • The ACCS-PWR-0014 battery is compatible with the Focus M Laser Scanners and Focus S *, the Freestyle 2 Mobile PC and the Power Dock chargers (ACCSS8002 & ACCS-PWR-0013).
  • The ACCS-PWR-0014 battery is required for the Focus Premium models; the older ACCSS8001 battery cannot power the unit.

*Important note for Focus M Laser Scanner users and Focus S :

The use of the Power Block ACCS-PWR-0014 battery is not supported by the versions of the Focus firmware 6.5 or 6.6. Scanners using these versions should be updated to version 6.7 or later.
